The setup for a bundle can be in a variety of combinations in order to achieve the type of package needed. Although the AudienceView software system does not recognize unique types of bundles used and referenced by our customers, there may be occasional references to Fixed and Flexible type bundles. Fixed bundles are typically created for season tickets, subscriptions and special offers. Flexible bundles are often used for family packs and are less restrictive.

Before You Begin

Before creating a bundle, ensure you have performed the following:

• Created bundle groups, if required.

• Created payment methods.

• Created delivery methods.
  For more information, refer to General Configuration Delivery Methods.
• Created passes and pass ticket templates, if required.
  For more information, refer to General Configuration Passes.
• Created gift certificate ticket templates, if required.
  For more information, refer to General Configuration Tickets.
• Created charges, if applicable.
  For more information, refer to Product Configuration Charges.
• Created price types.
  For more information, refer to Legends Price Types.
• Created memberships, if applicable.
  For more information, refer to General Configuration Memberships.
• Created roles.
  For more information, refer to Application Security Roles.
• Created promotions, if applicable.
  For more information, refer to Product Configuration Promotions.
• Created price charts.
  For more information, refer to Venue Configuration Price charts.
• Created performances.

Rules for Creating Bundles

When creating a bundle, consider the following rules:

• A single bundle can include elements from different venues, as long as they have the same price zone.

Automatic Bundle Fulfillment Rules

Bundles can be configured so that certain elements are automatically added to the order when a bundle is being purchased:

• Stored Value Items: Stored value items are automatically added to the order.
• Miscellaneous Items: To configure a bundle so that miscellaneous items are automatically added to the order, the following configuration must be applied:
  • The same value must be entered in the 'Min # Items per Bundle' and 'Max # Items per Bundle' fields.
  • The miscellaneous item cannot be configured with any 'Options'.

• Gifts: To configure a bundle so that gifts are automatically added to the order, the following configuration must be applied:
  • Yes must be selected from the 'Required' dropdown.
  • If Fixed is selected from the 'Value Type' dropdown, then the gift will automatically be added to the order.
  • If Recommended is selected from the 'Value Type' dropdown, then the customer will have the option of entering a different amount. The bundle cannot be fulfilled unless a gift is given.

Creating a Bundle

To create a bundle, complete the following:

1. Open the Product Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
2. Select the Bundles tab.
   The Bundles|Search page appears.
3. Click 'Create New'.
   The Bundles|Details page appears.
4. In the bundle details section, specify that basic information pertaining to this bundle.
   For more information, refer to Bundle Details Section.
5. Optionally, enter additional data for your organization’s purposes. Click the down arrow to expose the data fields in the bundle data section.
   For more information, refer to Bundle Data Section.
6. Optionally, specify the version of this bundle in the bundle versions section.
   For more information, refer to Bundle Versions Section.
7. Specify the details pertaining to this bundle version in the version details section.
   For more information, refer to Bundle Version Details Section.

   Information If there are no elements on the bundle, the 'Minimum # Perfs for Bundle' field is not a required field.

8. In the price types section, add the applicable price types and allowable range of admissions for this bundle.
   For details on this process, refer to Bundle Price Types Section.

   Information If there are no elements on the bundle, the 'Price Type' and 'Minimum Admissions' fields are not required fields.

9. Optionally, add a membership to this bundle.
   For details on this process, refer to Adding Memberships to a Bundle.
10. Specify the roles that can access this bundle.
    You can do this using the Bundles|Calendar page. For more information, refer to Adding a Bundle to the Calendar and Product Configuration Bundles-Calendar Page.
11. Specify the charges that will be applied to this bundle.
    You can do this using the Bundles|Charges page. For more information, refer to Adding Charges to a Bundle and Product Configuration Bundles-Charges Page.
12. Optionally, add performances to this bundle.
    You can do this using the Bundles|Elements page. For more information, refer to Adding Performances to a Bundle and Product Configuration Bundles-Elements Page.
13. Specify the price chart(s) that will be associated with this bundle.
    You can do this using the Bundles|Assignments page. For more information, refer to Assigning Price Charts to a Bundle and Product Configuration Bundles-Assignments Page.
14. Optionally, add stored value items to this bundle.
    You can do this using the Bundles|Stored Value Items page. For more information, refer to Adding a Stored Value Item to a Bundle and Product Configuration Bundles-Stored Value Items Page.
15. Optionally, add gifts to this bundle.
    You can do this using the Bundles|Gifts page. For more information, refer to Adding a Gift to a Bundle and Product Configuration Bundles-Gifts Page.
16. Optionally, add miscellaneous items to this bundle.
    You can do this using the Bundles|Miscellaneous Items page. For more information, refer to Adding a Miscellaneous Item to a Bundle and Product Configuration Bundles-Miscellaneous Items Page.
17. Click 'Create'.
    If you did not enter a date in the 'Effective Date' field on the Bundles|Details page, the application prompts you to confirm that the effective date will be set to the current date and time.
18. Click 'OK'.
    A window confirms that the application created the bundle.
19. Click 'OK'.
