Deleting an Attachment from an Element

If you have added an attachment to an element, you can delete the attachment if you have the appropriate permissions.

To delete an attachment from an element, complete the following:

  1. Open the General Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Tickets tab.
    The Tickets|Search page.
  3. Search for and select the template with the attachment that you want to delete. For more information, refer to the General Configuration Tickets-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Tickets|Basic page appears. The devices are displayed in the Devices section. The current device is highlighted for editing.
  4. Select the device with the elements that you want to work with from the 'Devices' list.
    The device is highlighted for editing.
  5. Select the Elements tab.
    The Tickets|Elements page appears.
  6. Select the element that you want to delete the attachment from by clicking on it in the preview image or selecting it from the 'existing element' dropdown.
  7. Click the 'Element' dropdown.
    The details of the selected element appear.
  8. Click the check box next to the attachment.
  9. Click 'OK'.
    The application removes the attachment.
  10. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the template.
  11. Click 'OK'.
