Venue Configuration Venue-Search Page

The Venue Configuration application Venues|Search page allows you to search for and select previously saved venues. When the 'Search' button is clicked, results that match the entered search criteria are displayed in the select venue section. When a venue is selected the Venues|Basic page appears, allowing you to view and edit the basic details of the selected venue.

The default search venues section of the Venue Configuration application Venue|Search page enables you to search for existing venues using the following criteria:

Property Description
Name Enables you to filter the search based on the name of the venue. You can enter the words with which the name begins or use wildcards to search using portions of text.

To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Group Enables you to filter the search based on the group name of the venue. You can enter the words with which the group begins or use wildcards to search using portions of text.

Description Enables you to filter the search based on the description of the venue. You can enter the words with which the description begins or use wildcards to search using portions of text.

Page Size Enables you to specify the number of records to display per page returned in the results.
Search Type Enables you to choose the appropriate type of matches that you are expecting:
  • Match Any: When you want to search for records containing one or more of the search terms you selected.
  • Match All: When you want to search for records that contain all of the search terms you selected.
Search Searches for seat maps matching the specified search criteria.
Reload Clears the search results within the select venue section.
Create New Displays the Venue|Basic page.

Select Venue Section

You can use the select venue section of the Venue Configuration application Venue|Search page.

The select venue section of the Venue Configuration application Venue|Search page contains the following properties:

Property Description
Name Name of the venues returned by the query.
Group Name of the group the corresponding venue belongs.
Description Description of the corresponding venue.
<< Previous Displays the search results appearing on an earlier page.
Next >> Displays the search results appearing on a following page.
