Deleting a Note

The procedure for deleting a note is the same across AudienceView.

The following example demonstrates the deletion of a note through the My AudienceView application, but the steps can be used across all of the AudienceView applications that allow you to use notes. For a list of the pages that notes can be created in, refer to Using Notes.

Depending on your permissions, the Ownership (creator/assigned owner) and Access Mode (Private, Public and Readable) for the note, you may or may not be able to delete it.

Once you delete a note, it will no longer be available to you or any other users.

To delete an existing note, complete the following:

  1. Open the My AudienceView application from the AudienceView Desktop, or select Options and then My AudienceView or press SHIFT+M.
    The My Notes|Home|Created by page appears.  
  2. Select the Notes tab.
    The My Notes|Notes page appears.
  3. Search for and select the note that you want to delete. For more information, refer to My AudienceView My Notes-Notes Page and Performing Searches.
    The details will display at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click 'Delete'.
    A window prompts you to confirm the deletion of the selected note.
  5. Click 'OK'.
    A window confirms that the application deleted the note.
  6. Click 'OK'.
