Logging In and Out of AudienceView Desktop

Logging In

To log into AudienceView Desktop, complete the following:

  1. Using a web browser, navigate to your AudienceView website.
The AudienceView application selection page appears.
  2. Click AudienceView Desktop.
    The Please Login window appears.
  3. In the 'Username' field, enter your login ID.
  4. In the 'Password' field, enter your password.
Your username and password are case-sensitive.
  5. In the 'Location' field, select the location or terminal you are logging into.
  6. Click 'Login'.

If your login is unsuccessful, refer to Troubleshooting Desktop Login Failures.

You can now optionally change your login settings. For more information, refer to Changing Your Login Settings.

When you are logged into AudienceView, but have not performed any actions within a pre-defined period of time (set by your system administrator), the application times out, automatically logging you off. The next time you attempt to perform an action, the application will prompt you to log back on to AudienceView. AudienceView opens as if you were starting fresh. All unsaved data from your previous session will be lost.
To avoid losing data as a result of a time-out, save your changes frequently.

Logging Out

To log out of AudienceView Desktop, complete the following:

  1. From anywhere in AudienceView, press SHIFT+L.
The application prompts you to confirm the logout.
  2. To logout, click 'OK'.
The application logs you out of AudienceView and you are returned to the Please Login page.
