It is suggested that you save your message prior to building the content. Creating and saving the basic information of your message is covered in Creating a Message.
The content of your messages can contain formatted text, tables, images, and it can include links that will direct readers to specific performances, bundles, articles or miscellaneous items. You can also enter tags for customer-related data entities to personalize your message. For example, entering the tags [First Name] [Last Name] would display the customer's first and last names in the message. For more information, refer to Inserting Tags into a Message.
To build the content of your message, complete the following:
- Open the Correspondence application from the AudienceView Desktop.
- Select the Messages tab.
The Messages|Search page appears.
- Search for and select the message that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Correspondence Messages-Search Page and Performing Searches.
If you have not previously created the desired message, create the basic information for the message. For more information, refer to Creating a Message.
The Messages|Basic page appears.
- Select the Build tab.
The Messages|Build page appears.
- Place the cursor in the body of the build message group box.
- Enter the text for your message content.
- Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the application updated the message.
- Click 'OK'.
