By default, performance calendars are determined by the calendar settings on the series. You can modify this information, if you have the appropriate permissions. For more information on series, refer to Managing Series Calendar Entries.
The calendar determines the roles that have access to the performance, when the performance appears on the sales calendar and/or goes on/off sale, the on offer time out and promotional codes to grant access to the performance.
To modify a performance calendar entry, complete the following:
- Open the Venue Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
- Select the Performances tab.
The Performances|Search page appears.
- Search for and select the performance that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Venue Configuration Performances-Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Performances|Basic page appears.
- Select the Calendar tab.
The Performances|Calendar page appears.
- Modify the applicable performance calendar fields:
- Select one or more roles from the 'Role' list which you want to enable access to the performance.
To select more than one role, hold CTRL or SHIFT while making your selections.
If you do not hold CTRL while selecting the role all of the roles that are currently selected will be deselected.
- Enter the date from which the performance will appear on the calendar in the 'On Calendar' field or select a date by clicking next to the field. For more information, refer to Using a Calendar to Add a Date.
Use the buttons in the column header to set to the date for all calendar entries.
- Optionally enter a date when the performance goes off the calendar in the 'Off Calendar' field or select a date by clicking next to the field. For more information, refer to Using a Calendar to Add a Date.
- Enter the date from which the role can sell the performance in the 'On Sale' field or select a date by clicking next to the field. For more information, refer to Using a Calendar to Add a Date.
- Optionally enter a date when the performance goes off sale to the role in the 'Off Sale' field.
- If you want to grant access to the performance using a promotional code, enter the promotional code in the 'Promotional Code' field or click to search for the code(s).

- If the promotional code does not have an access code, only those customers holding a benefit that has the associated promotional code will be able to access the performance.
- If the promotional code has an access codes, customers must enter the 'Promotional Access Code' online to access the performance.

- Enter the length of time seats can be on offer before they become available to other users in the 'On Offer Reservation' field.
Enter the duration in the field or click to select the duration. For more information, refer to Using Relative Dates and Times.
- Enter the duration of time that any reservations or offers made on the performance will be valid in the 'Offer Time Out' field.
Enter a relative date or date into field or click or to select the relative date or date.

- Enter the fixed date that any reservations or offers made on the performance will expire for the particular selected roles in the 'Offer Valid Until' field.
Enter the date or relative date in the field or click or to select a date or relative date.

- Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the application updated the performance.
- Click 'OK'.
