The Performances|Ticket Usage page allows you to open seats that have not yet been sold but are in-flight (i.e. seats that have been added to an order that has not been created yet).
By default, in-flight seats will timeout based on the user role or event settings. You can release in-flight seats before the timeout if you have the appropriate permissions.
To release in-flight seats, complete the following:
- Open the Venue Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
- Select the Performances tab.
The Performances|Search page appears.
- Search for and select the performance that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Venue Configuration Performances-Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Performances|Basic page appears.
- Select the Ticket Usage tab.
The Performances|Ticket Usage page appears.
- Select the in-flight seats that you want to release. In-flight seats appear faded and moving your mouse over the seat will display On Offer at the top of the page.
A strike-through mark appears over the selected seats.
- Click 'Remove from Offer'.
The page refreshes and the seats are no longer in-flight.
Ticket sellers and online customers will now be able to purchase these seats. If a hold is not added to the opened seats, or the opened seats are not added to another order, the original order can still be completed.
