Disabling the Save Payment Details Option

When making a payment using a payment method with a 'Storage Type' of Saveable via Online/Mobile, customers have the option of saving the payment details (e.g. masked credit card numbers and expiry date).

To disable AudienceView Online/Mobile customers' ability to save payment information while allowing users to save the information in the Desktop, complete the following:

  1. Open the Application Security application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Group tab.
    The Group|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the WebSales group. For more information, refer to Application Security Group-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Group|Basic page appears.
  4. Select the Content tab.
    The Group|Content page appears.
  5. Select the Online or the Mobile property.
  6. Hold CTRL and deselect the Customer Saved Payment option.
    If you do not hold CTRL while selecting the Customer Saved Payment option all of the Online/Mobile options that are currently selected will be deselected.
  7. Click 'Apply'
    A window confirms that the application updated the group.
  8. Click 'OK'.
