Inserting a Special Character in an Article

You can enter a special character into an article. The special characters can take the form of letters with accents like umlauts or tildes.

To insert a special character into an article, complete the following:

  1. Open the Content Management application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Articles tab.
    The Articles|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the article that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Content Management Articles-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Articles|Basic page appears.
  4. Select the Text tab.
    The Articles|Text page appears.
  5. Place the cursor at the point in the article where you want to insert the special character.
  6. Click on the Insert Special Character icon ().
    The Select Special Character lightbox appears.
  7. Select the special character that you want to insert.
    The Articles|Text page displays with the special character inserted in the article.
