Searching for Text in an Article

You can search for specific segments of text in an article.

To search for text in an article, complete the following:

  1. Open the Content Management application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Articles tab.
    The Articles|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the article that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Content Management Articles-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Articles|Basic page appears.
  4. Select the Text tab.
    The Articles|Text page appears.
  5. Click the Find icon ().
    The Find and Replace lightbox appears.
  6. Enter the text that you want to search for in the 'Find what:' field.
  7. Click the 'Match case' check box if you want the search to match the case of the entered search text.
  8. Click the 'Match whole word' check box if you want to search for the entire word that was entered as search text. The search engine will not look for a phrase, only the entire word as entered.
  9. Click the 'Match cyclic' check box if you want to search for all instances of the entered search text instead of the first instance only.
  10. Click 'Find'.
    The found text is highlighted throughout the document. Click 'Find' again to find the next instance of the search results.
    If the text is not found, the message stating The specified text was not found. is displayed. Refine your search criteria, ensuring that the search terms are spelled correctly, and retry the search.
