Defining Meta Tags for a Specific Article

Before you can use certain meta tags, you must first add them to the META Tags list. For more information, refer to Adding Meta Tags to the META Tags List.
Information
Any meta tag values set against an article will override the meta tags values defined against the site.

To add meta tags to an article, complete the following:

  1. Open the Content Management application from the AudienceView Desktop.
    The Articles|Search page appears.
  2. Search for and select the article that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Content Management Articles-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Articles|Basic page appears.
  3. Select the Applications tab.
    The Articles|Applications page appears.
  4. Click 'Add META Tag'.
    A meta tag row appears.
  5. Select the meta tag that you want to use from the 'Name' dropdown (e.g. keywords).
  6. Enter the value of the meta tag in the 'Value' field (e.g. if you selected keywords from the 'Name' dropdown, enter the keywords that you want associated to the article, such as music, theatre, play).
    For more information on the acceptable meta tags and their the 'Value' format that should be used, refer to w3schools.com - meta name properties.
  7. For every meta tag that you want to add, repeat the process from Step 4.
  8. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the article.
  9. Click 'OK'.
