Setting the Auto-Commit Frequency

During large batches of emails (and renewals), the original large transaction will be automatically committed, as specified by the 'AutoCommitFrequency' field setting, into smaller transactions to prevent the loss of message delivery (and renewal order creation) records in the event of rollbacks. By default, the auto-commit functionality is set to 10.

The 'Auto-Commit Frequency' setting is shared between emails and renewals.

To set the auto-commit frequency, complete the following:

  1. Open the Registry application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Navigate to the Registry::System::Application node.
  3. Enter the number of emails that you would like sent in each batch in the 'AutoCommitFrequency' field.
To disable the auto-commit funtionality set the 'AutoCommitFrequency' field to 0.
  4. Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
  5. Click 'OK'.
