Setting the Mailhost

The mailhost is the name of the email server that you use to send emails (e.g. electronic tickets, reports, payment processor results, invoices).

To set the mailhost, complete the following:

  1. Open the Registry application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Navigate to the Registry::EN::Session node.
  3. Enter the name of your email server in the 'mailhost' field.
  4. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
  5. Click 'OK'.

The Mailhost can also be set in AudienceView’s global.asa file, which is in the %AudienceView%\UI folder. The mailhost entry in the global.asa file overrides the Registry setting and can be used to assign each server a different mailhost.
