There are a number of configurable data fields that can be used to collect and report on customer information that can be used for marketing purposes:

Series data fields display in the series data section of the Venue Configuration application Series|Basic page.

Performance data fields display in the performance data section of the Venue Configuration application Performances|Basic page.

Admission data fields display on the Venue Configuration application Performances|Seats|Edit and Performance Management|Seats pages.
To change the name or other attributes of these data fields, complete the following:

Open the Registry application from the AudienceView Desktop.

If you want to set the data following data fields:

Series Data Fields: Navigate to the Registry::EN::Business Objects::TSseriesBO::Series::Data [1 - 8] node(s).

Performance Data Fields: Navigate to the Registry::EN::Business Objects::TSperformanceBO::Marketing::Data [1 - 16] node(s).

Admission Data Fields (on the Events|Seats|Edit page): Navigate to the Registry::EN::Business Objects::TSperformanceBO::Admission::Data [1 - 9] node(s).

Admission Data Fields (on the Admission Management|Seats page): Navigate to the Registry::EN::Collection Objects::TSperformanceCO::Seats::Data [1 - 9] node(s).

Modify the key values, as appropriate.

The initial value of the data field, before the user makes any changes. |
Label |
The name to identify the data being collected as it is displayed to the user. |
List |
Select the list you want users to choose from for this field (if any). If you choose a list, when you apply your changes, the 'Default Value' field updates with the available list options. |
Mask |
Specifies how to mask the data entered into this field. |
Maximum Length |
The maximum number of characters the user can enter into the field. This applies if you allow the user to enter text into the field.

Currently, data field lengths cannot be increased beyond the length determined by the database schema. |

Mode |
Specifies the accessibility of this marketing data field. The mode options are:

Readable: Select Yes to enable users to see this field on their interface.

Writeable: Select Yes to enable users to set a value for this field.
-
Unbound: Specifies whether the field is bound to the specified list (No) or enabled for users to enter their own value (Yes).
-
Persistable: Specifies that the field information can be saved to the database.
-
Optional: Specifies whether the field is an optional field.
-
Masked: Select Yes to enable data masking. If you select Yes, you must specify how to mask the data using the 'Mask' field.
The three possible settings are:

Default: The generally anticipated use of the field
-
Yes: Field option is active (e.g. 'Optional' set to Yes indicates an optional field)
-
No: Field option is active (e.g. 'Optional' set to No indicates a mandatory field)

Subtype |
Alters the way that data is presented or validated (e.g. selecting Color enables the colour selector). |

Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
-
Click 'OK'.
