Configuring Blocked-Off and Pass-Through Ticket Numbers

You can configure a range of ticket numbers so that the system will not generate tickets with those numbers (Blocked-Off) and/or configure specific ticket numbers so that they can be scanned multiple times (Pass-Through):

  1. Open the Registry application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Navigate to the System::Configuration::Numbers::Tickets node.
  3. Click 'New Node'.
  4. Enter a name for the node in the 'Node Name' field.
  5. Enter the first ticket number in the range in the 'Begin' field.
  6. Enter the last ticket number in the range in the 'End' field.
  7. Select one of the following options from the 'Range Type' dropdown.
    • Blocked-off: The system will not generate ticket numbers within the range entered in the 'Begin' and 'End' fields.
    • Pass-Through: The ticket numbers within the range entered in the 'Begin' and 'End' fields can to be scanned any number of times without validation. It will create a scanned-in ticket record for every successful scan if in is enabled on the scanning device, or scanned-out ticket record if out is enabled.
  8. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
  9. Click 'OK'.
