Enabling Unpaid Reason Functionality

You can configure AudienceView to require that users enter a reason for leaving an order unpaid.

Enabling this functionality would display the following alert to users:

Enabling this functionality involves updating the Registry and modifying user roles.

To enable the unpaid reason functionality, complete the following:

  1. Open the Registry application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Navigate to the Registry::EN::Business Objects::TSorderBO::Order::Unpaid Reason node.
  3. Select Yes from the 'Readable' and 'Writeable' dropdowns.
  4. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
  5. Click 'OK'.
  6. Open the Application Security application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  7. Select the Roles tab.
    The Roles|Search page appears.
  8. Search for and select the role that you want to supply an unpaid reason. For more information, refer to Application Security - Roles|Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Roles|Basic page appears
  9. Add the warning message 5388: You need to supply a reason for creating an unpaid order from the 'Suppressed Warnings' list by clicking it so that it is highlighed in blue.

  10. For every role to which you want to add the warning message, repeat the process from Step 7.
