Setting the Email Confirmation Template

When customers buy tickets Online, they receive a confirmation email. The template used to for this email is set up using the General Configuration application on the Script Templates|Edit page. The default template is called Confirmation Email::Invoice.

You can also set the default template on the user role. If a template is not specified on the user role, then the template set in the Registry is used. For more information, refer to Configuring Roles.

Setting the Email Confirmation Template

To set the email confirmation template, complete the following:

  1. Open the Registry application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Navigate to the Registry::EN::Business Objects::TSorderBO node.
  3. Select the desired template from the 'confirmationTemplate' dropdown:
    • Order Confirmation Email (text/avdocument): A PDF version
    • Order Confirmation Email (text/html): A version in HTML
    • Order Confirmation Email (text/plain): A plain text version
  4. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
  5. Click 'OK'.

Setting Email Confirmation Labels

To alter any of the email confirmation labels navigate to the Registry application Registry::EN::Application::Invoice Labels and then to one of the following nodes:

  • Agent Invoice
  • Cancel Tickets Confirmation Email
  • Confirmation Email Invoice
  • Customer Creation Email
    • Branding Label
  • Failure Email Invoice
  • Offer Confirmation Email
    • Branding
  • Order Confirmation Email
    • Branding
  • Ticket Forward Reprint Confirmation
