Filling a Performance Seating Request

If you are able to fill a request, you must update the original request order with the assigned seats and mark the request as Filled.

You can use the Advanced Order Search to search for requests based on their statuses. For more information, refer to Advanced Order Search.

To fill a performance request, complete the following:

  1. Open the Customer Services application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Order tab.
    The Order|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the order for which you want to fill a request. For information, refer to Searching for an Order.
    The Order|Summary page appears.
  4. In the requests section, click the performance name link.
    The Seats|Map appears.
  5. Select the appropriate seats to fill the request.
  6. Click 'Order Summary'.
    The Order|Summary page appears.  
  7. From the request's 'Status' dropdown, select Filled.
    This is important if the customer already paid for the request. If you do not update the status of the request, the order’s 'Amount Due' will reflect the cost of the seats you just added to the order and the request.
  8. Click 'Update Details'.
  9. Update the payment details, if necessary.

  10. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the order.
  11. Click 'OK'.
If the customer paid for the request when the order was created, the payment is now allocated to the admissions. For more information, refer to Payment Allocations.
