Preprinting

Preprinting enables you to generate ticket numbers or gift certificate/card redemption numbers without physically printing a ticket. If you use this option, the order’s print status is changed to Printed. This is useful if you do not print tickets in-house.

Information
Multiple orders can be preprinted in a batch using the Utilities application. For more information, refer to Performing Orders Batch Processes.

To preprint tickets, gift certificates or gift cards, complete the following:

  1. Open the Customer Services application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Order tab.
    The Order|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the order that you want to work with. For more information, refer to Searching for an Order.
  4. Choose an option:
    If you want to Then
    preprint all unprinted or previously printed tickets and/or gift certificates/cards, Click next to the 'Print' button and select Preprinted Tickets.
    preprint or reprint a specific ticket and/or gift certificates/cards, Open the page that contains the item you want to preprint, if applicable.
    Select the 'select?' check box next to the item you want to print.
    Return to the Order|Summary page.
    Click next to the 'Print' button and select Preprinted Tickets.

    The application generates the applicable ticket numbers and/or redemption numbers.
    A window confirms that the application preprinted the items.

  5. Click 'OK'.
