AudienceView enables you to record customer requests for seats to a performance that currently does not have seats available, thus creating a waiting list. Ask your system administrator if you are unsure when to use this feature.
When creating the request, you can specify whether the customer will be paying for the request now or when the request is filled. If the customer pays for the request before it is filled, the funds are allocated to requests. Once the request has been filled, the funds are then allocated to the admissions. You can use the End of Day Summary Report to view how the funds are allocated. For more information, refer to Using Business Intelligence and Payment Allocations.
