Configuring Passes

A pass enables customers to access multiple events, obtain certain miscellaneous items or obtain membership benefits. Once created, you can associate passes with miscellaneous items or bundles.

By default, passes are configured such that a customer can only hold one instance of the pass and can only assign one admission to the same performance to the pass.

To configure a pass, complete the following:

  1. If required, create a template to use when printing the corresponding pass.
You can do this using the General Configuration application Tickets|Search page.
For more information, refer to Creating a Ticket Template
  2. Create a new pass for the corresponding pass template.
You can do this using the General Configuration application Passes|Search page.
For more information, refer to Creating a New Pass
  3. Associate the pass with the corresponding bundle or miscellaneous item.
You can associate passes with bundles using the bundles’ Assigned Pass property. This property is available within the version details section of the Product Configuration application Bundles|Details page. For more information, refer to Associating Passes with a Bundle.
You can associate passes with miscellaneous items using the miscellaneous items’ Assigned Pass property. This property is available within the miscellaneous item details section of the Product Configuration application Miscellaneous Items|Details page.
For more information, refer to Associating Passes with a Miscellaneous Item.
  4. Optionally, add eligible performances to the pass.
If you want to configure a pass that allows non-assigned admission based entry to a set of performances (e.g. all access pass to a film festival), add eligible performances to the pass using the General Configuration application Passes|Performances page.
For more information, refer to Adding Eligible Performances to a Pass.
