Best Practice - Season Ticket with a Bundle and a Pass Configuration Workflow

The following list defines the suggested order in which you should configure a season ticket that using a bundle and a pass in AudienceView. Each subsequent component/element relies on the previous components/elements to have already been created.
  1. Create a ticket template for the pass, ensuring that:
    1. Pass is selected from the 'Type' dropdown on the Tickets|Basic page.
    2. The template contains the elements that you want printed on the pass.
  2. Create a ticket template for hard tickets, ensuring that:
    1. Seat is selected from the 'Type' dropdown on the Tickets|Basic page.
    2. The template contains the elements that you want printed on the hard tickets
  3. Create the series and performance(s), ensuring that:
    1. The Seat ticket template is selected from the 'Ticket Template' dropdown on the Series|Basic and/or Performances|Basic pages, so that you can issue hard tickets when necessary (e.g. for a last-minute reprint if customers have lost their passes).
  4. Create a pass, ensuring that:
    1. If one customer will be allowed to purchase multiple season tickets that Multiple Passes by Group is selected from the 'Options' field on the Passes|Basic page.
    2. The Pass ticket template is selected from the 'Pass Ticket Template' dropdown on the Passes|Basic page.
    3. You do not add anything on the Passes|Performances page.
  5. Create a bundle, ensuring that:
    1. If there is any chance that the bundle will be used for a renewal, that Subscription is selected from the 'Bundle Type' dropdown on the Bundles|Details page.
    2. The appropriate payment methods are selected from the 'Add Accepted Payment Methods' field on the Bundles|Details page.
    3. The appropriate delivery methods are selected from the 'Allowed Delivery Methods' field on the Bundles|Details page.
    4. If the season ticket will be for the same seats for every performance, select Same Seats from the 'Options' field on the Bundles|Details page.
    5. Select the pass created in Step 4 from the 'Assigned Pass' dropdown on the Bundles|Details page.
      This means a new pass will be created when the customer is added to the bundle on the Order|Summary page.
    6. Select the pass created in Step 4 from the 'Eligible Passes' on the Bundles|Details page.
      This means that the bundle admissions will be assigned to the pass.
  6. Ensure that the delivery method used when printing the order containing the season ticket has Passes and Tickets selected from the 'Options' field on the Delivery Method|Basic page.
